慈濟多功能福慧床　獲德國紅點獎

慈濟基金會研發的「淨斯多功能福慧床」，今天獲得德國紅點設計大獎（Ｒed Dot Design Award）的「最高品質」獎肯定。
 
淨斯多功能福慧床拉開是一張單人床，折起來是椅子，重量15公斤，展開後長度達202.1公分，成年人單手可以提著走，可折疊不占空間，不用組裝及螺絲、板手等工具，使用時一拉開就可坐、可躺，離地墊高30公分，可免受地板泥濘之苦，每張床可承受150公斤重量，目前已用於巴基斯坦、菲律賓等災區使用，廣受好評。
 
德國紅點設計大獎與德國iF獎、美國IDEA獎並稱為世界三大設計獎，每年吸引了超過60個國家，1萬餘件作品參賽。今年慈濟「淨斯多功能福慧床」在1816個參加單位、4815設計品中，脫穎而出，獲得「最高品質」大獎。
 
慈濟表示，「多功能福慧床」的研發，緣自於2010年巴基斯坦水患。當時賑災團傳回的災區影像，一位女嬰出生不久就因家裡遭受水患肆虐殘破不堪，只能被迫裹著薄巾，棲身在濕冷地上，讓慈濟創辦人證嚴法師看了相當不忍，請志工研發解決的方法，才催生這項賑災法寶。（張勵德／台北報導）
