拒簽短約　莫拉列斯、祖魯6月才找得到工作

大砲克魯茲(Nelson Cruz)以1年800萬美元(約台幣2.4億元)短約，山塔那(Ervin Santana) 以1年1410萬美元(約台幣4.2億元)加盟勇士之後，「吸血鬼」波拉斯(Scott Boras)堅持，他所代理的2名明星級自由球員古巴大炮莫拉列斯(Kendrys Morales)、游擊手祖魯(Stephen Drew)不會跟隨這股風潮，以一年短約暫時找個新東家。
莫拉列斯、祖魯都是拒絕原母隊的合格報價投身自由球員市場，但大聯盟新球季開打在即，有風聲傳出，2名明星球員可能被迫考慮跟進以短約模式，先找個新東家再說。
波拉斯否認這樣的說法，目前持續與數支球隊進行恰談複數年合約，但受限於大聯盟制度，可能要等到6月選秀結束後，才能幫他們找到合適的新東家。(姚瑞宸／綜合報導)
