美國原油期貨周二溫和上漲，投資人等待美國上周能源庫存報告，預期該報告將顯示原油庫存減少。

紐約10月原油上漲9美分，或0.1%，收於每桶92.75美元。

10月布倫特原油收低1.04美元，或1%，至每桶99.16美元，創2013年4月18日以來收盤低點。

美國石油協會(API)周二晚將公布上周能源庫存報告。能源資訊局(EIA)則將於周三公布上周庫存報告。

分析師說，預期庫存減少，為原油價格支撐。

預期9月5日結束的一周，美國原油庫存減少100萬桶。

周二稍早，EIA小幅調降今年及2015年原油價格預測，但原油期貨仍守住漲幅。EIA並預測明年美國原油產量將創45年高點，但原油價格依舊守穩。

EIA預期明年美國原油產量將達每日950萬桶，將創1970年以來，年度最高平均水準。8月每日產量為860萬桶，創1986年7月以來最高單月水準。

其他能源交易中，10月汽油下跌1.4美分，或0.5%，收於每加侖2.5484美元。

10月熱燃油下跌1.8美分，或0.6%，收於每加侖2.7915美元。10月天然氣上漲11美分，或2.8%，收於每百萬Btu 3.9840美元。
