美國有線電視新聞網報導，活躍於敘利亞及伊拉克兩國的激進組織「伊斯蘭國」（IS）25日控制了敘利亞塔布卡空軍基地後，敘利亞外長莫倫說，敘國已準備接受美國及其他國家的支持，對抗「恐怖分子」。

但莫倫警告，其他國家不得在未經敘利亞同意的情況下，採取片面行動，或在敘國領土發動襲擊。他還說：「打擊恐怖主義的任何行動都應該在與敘利亞政府協調下進行。」

敘國內戰已約3年，美國持續呼籲敘國總統阿塞德辭職下台，且推動聯合國通過譴責敘利亞政府的決議案，雙方關係敵對。
