湖人控衛Kendall Marshall跟林書豪有不少相似點，都是在Mike D'Antoni麾下，找到出頭機會，並在第一場先發時，繳出優異成績，幫助球隊贏球。「過來人」林書豪如何看待Marshall這位後起之秀？

「Marshall打得很棒，」林書豪說，「他的傳球功力一流，是個很聰明的球員。當湖人傷兵一堆的時候，他能夠把握機會，繳出優異表現，我想，大家都會替他高興。」

兩人在美國時間8日同場較勁，林書豪上場39分鐘，投12中4，得13分，4助攻4失誤，Marshall上場38分鐘，投13中2，得5分，8助攻6失誤。林書豪所屬的火箭隊，以113比99擊敗湖人。
