【陳亮諭／綜合報導】台巴混血兒吳憶樺返台引關注，茄萣鄉親拱他為「茄萣代言人」，建議親友送他一面刻有「茄萣之子」的金牌，擺在巴西住家，一輩子不忘自己是「茄萣之子」。

今日出版的《聯合報》報導，茄萣居民說，當地每年靠「烏魚季」來宣傳，但再怎麼行銷，效果仍不及吳憶樺該次返台來得響亮，要大家稱呼他為「茄萣之子」比用「台巴混血兒」更好。
