日水族館大王具足蟲絕食滿5年

（中央社記者楊明珠東京2日專電）日本媒體報導，三重縣鳥羽市水族館所飼養的大王具足蟲絕食至今滿5週年，今天傍晚飼育員將再予以餵食，牠是否會吃，讓外界相當關心。

大王具足蟲是世界最大等足類生物，體長約30公分，鳥羽水族館飼養10隻。這種大王具足蟲的同類生物棲息於墨西哥灣等深海600至700公尺處。

鳥羽水族館飼養的大王具足蟲當中1隻，5年前的今天吃了食魚之後，就未再進食。

館方每隔數月就餵牠食魚或蝦等食物，但牠都沒有食慾。館方決定今天在牠5年前進食的同一時間，大約下午6時（台灣時間5時）首度試著餵食雞肉，看牠有沒有興趣。

經過媒體報導後，現在大王具足蟲水族箱前有大批遊客觀賞這隻謎樣的生物。

館方人員表示，大王具足蟲是住在深海的生物，通常不會頻繁進食，但不知為何這隻大王具足蟲絕食了5年，牠看起來蠻有活力，健康狀況也沒問題。1030102
