出席G20聖彼得堡高峰會的世界領袖，在5日晚餐會上討論歐巴馬力推的對敘利亞動武問題，東道主普亭給每人十分鐘發表意見，結果共講了三個鐘頭，大家各說各話，莫衷一是。義大利總理雷塔在其推特上說，「G20剛結束晚餐會，證實大家對敘利亞問題立場分裂」。晚餐吃到當地6日凌晨一點 (台北清晨5點)。
