國際貨幣基金組織(IMF)發言人Gerry Rice周四(11日)說，葡萄牙應持續執行與國際借貸者達成的紓困條件，以確保其經濟和財政能夠復甦。

上周，葡萄牙在反對執行撙節計劃的外長請辭以後陷入政治混亂。

Rice表示：「我不會評論政治事件，但只想說，憑藉著極大決心與人民的犧牲，葡萄牙在ECB/EC/IMF計劃上已取得穩固的進展。令執行力強的紀錄持續下去亦至關重要，以使復甦扎根。」
